ADVICE ON PADEL COURT CONSTRUCTION IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND EUROPE

Who can play padel ?

Children

Padel can be played from 4 years of age. Learning to play is simple and they have fun quickly. Children often first learn to play padel to improve the technique of tennis.

It is an ideal sport for motricity and coordination. Children have a lot of fun learning to play and learn a team sport right away.

Adults

Padel is a comptetitive physical activity and can be played by both men and women with a range of abilities and experience. this makes it very sociable and accessible across gender, age and fitness.

It’s a valuable addition to existing adult racket sport players as well as an avenue for involvement for those with less experience.

Seniors

Padel is the ideal, intergenerational sport with which seniors can join the rest of the family, do a physical activity and have a good time.

WHY PLAY PADEL ?

It is fun

Padel requires less physical effort than tennis or squash.

It’s shared fun because you always play a double game.

More rallies thanks to the size of the court (smaller than a tennis court) and the walls around the field are used.

It’s open to everyone

Players can do rallys at the beginner level, unlike other more technical racket sports. The pleasure is  immediate !

The player can hit the ball back through the wall after bouncing, so the chances for a return are greater.

The padel racket is smaller and therefore easier to handle.

It’s social

Playing together reinforces social bonds.

It is a fun and spectacular sport, both to play and to watch.

Padel is an intergenerational game: you can play with your family at any age and have fun.
